What are you doing with your portion?

What are you doing with your portion?

Ephesians 4:11-12.  “But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it”. Ephesians 4: 7. This is how our passage of Scriptures opens today.  I have a question for you.

What are you using your portion of grace Christ gave you for?

Remember the parable of the three servants each given a different number of gold bricks?

One is given ten, another five and the last servant is given one.  The master is so upset with the last servant, why? Because he buries his brick in the ground and does not do ANYTHING with it.  This saddens the Lord to no end.  If you don’t know what the Lord is asking you to do, maybe you are already doing it.  I went through a time where I did not feel that nursing was serving the Lord.  I prayed and asked Him and He answered me with a yes, nursing was what I was to be doing and I was to do it to Him no matter how I felt about it.  I was doing what the Lord wanted me to do but without a good attitude.  I changed my attitude by seeking Him and that totally changed my perspective on my work.  I hope this encourages you to ask Him and seek His will for your life.  It may take a surprising turn or two.

Behold Israel, a ministry on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, called for all believers across the globe to fast and pray for the Christians of Wuhan, China.

Guess how many physically responded to the call??? Over 3 million people! Believer, you are not alone. You have a valued place in a beautiful family of God.  Together we are built up and strengthened and encouraged by one another.  Don’t let Satan lie to you telling you that you are alone, that no one cares, and that you have nothing to offer.

This totally sums up why we are to work to grow in Christ Jesus as individuals and as a family, community, church group, and all together as the bride of Christ.  Because as we do this, as each one of us grows, uses our grace, cultivates a deep and personal relationship with Christ; we all grow together in a beautiful working of the Lord.
