May our hearts be Free
“She makes linen garments and sells them. And supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches of the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Proverbs 31:24-31
Wash yourself, cloth yourself, adorn yourself in good works, speak beauty, speak redemption, and embody strength. Do this in the Holy Spirit. Seek Him, grown in Him, cultivate Him. He is a very, very good farmer and you will see fruit in your life that are not yours but His, goodness, kindness, joy, love, peace, long suffering, patience, faithfulness, and self-control. These fruits will bless you. They will lift you up. They will build up those around you. They will teach, admonish, bless, and encourage those around you. Fix your eyes on Jesus and the things of this world will grow strangely dime.
Our treasure is in Heaven not on this earth. Be sure to keep your eyes up, seek Him and His truths and He will set you free! Free to obey him with joy. Free to serve Him. Free to live for Him. Free to excel well above all the other daughters. Free to be a virtuous Godly woman. May our heart gate be as Psalm 24 describes!
“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty—he is the King of glory.” Psalm 24: 7-10
