Wrapping up 2019

2020 is the beginning of a new decade.

Looking back is an essential way to live your finest life and to prepare for the future. It helps you see matters, accomplishments, and challenges in your life.

2019 was a hard year for me. It began with a bang for our family as three extended family members died suddenly in the first three month and then my brother and his family moved back to Brazil. My new horse died suddenly the day after my brother left. To say I was devastated was an understatement. But what then? I published a book in May, my very first book. I started a blog and website in August, I moved to Prince George in November.

Life changing stuff all of it is. It gets tiring when it is all crumbed into only 12 months. In-between all this life, the Lord moves and works. He had restored our family relationships through all this pain. He had brought redemption between friendship toward a part for years and this year He healed them. I got a new horse and named her Grace, reminding me of God’s grace to me each and every day. My family has experienced a revival, a turning towards God with all our hearts and minds and might. We fasted and prayed together a lot in 2019 and this changes things.

It brings such healing and unity to do this together as separate families spread all over western Canada and the US, but we can pray together on a conference call each week.

Is God on the move you may ask?

My answer is another question. Did God move you in 2019? Is He moving you now? If not, maybe it is time to seek Him and be available to Him to be moved!

John 4:34,35

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
